watchout - update 0.2017

following 2 (two!) downloads from all over the world, i am back with the long-awaited update codenamed ‘THE NEW BEGINNING UPDATE’¹

with the new year, i understand that this has become a time for us to be self-reflective and improve ourselves to become better people, and this update embodies that entire message.

but you may ask, how can a game about the story of a cube even begin to embody such a message? alas, that is not for you to ask, as i’m the one making the game. all you have to do is experience.

with the tap of one beautifully crafted button, you can begin anew, ready to explore the world as we once did, explore as our masters had, explore in the time of exploration. everything that is in the past is left behind, as no one ever moved forward by moving two steps back.

but now you may ask, ‘hashir did u rly just add a reset button? u loner go to sleep’

no. never have we as humans experienced a feature – no, a lifestyle shift, like this. we don’t just start over and leave the past behind, instead we stand up and move forward, together, stronger, learning from our past.

but understand that this is much more. featuring the first ever .png texture in watchout, this update creates a landmark point in the watchout development. moving on, all (prob not) graphics on screen will be high-res textures to provide an un-paralleled experience and do the story of the cube justice. this update also includes a few vital improvements to the nature of the game, letting you experience in greater comfort.
